  • 1 1/3 cups milk
  • 1 egg
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil

Instructions

Waffle Batter Preparation

  • In a large mixing bowl, I add 2 cups of Bisquick mix, 1 1/3 cups of milk, 1 egg, and 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil. I use a whisk or spatula to stir everything together until just combined. You don’t want to overmix here—lumps are totally fine! Overmixing can make the waffles dense instead of light and fluffy.
  • Once the batter is mixed, I let it rest for at least 10 minutes. This small step allows the ingredients to fully hydrate and helps the waffles cook more evenly, giving them that perfect crispy edge with a soft, airy center.
