Equipment

  • Blender
  • Measuring Cups and Spoons
  • Knife and Cutting Board
  • Serving Bowl
  • Spoon

Ingredients

  • ¾ cup sliced strawberries, divided
  • ¼ cup cottage cheese (I use non-fat, but any type works)
  • ½ cup unsweetened vanilla almond milk (or any milk of your choice)
  • 1 scoop vanilla or strawberry-flavored protein powder
  • 2 cups ice (adjust more or less depending on your preferred thickness)
  • ½ sheet wholegrain graham cracker, crushed (optional)
  • Optional: whipped cream for garnish

Instructions

Smoothie Bowl Preparation

  • First, I add ½ cup of sliced strawberries, cottage cheese, almond milk, protein powder, and ice into my blender. Then I blend everything until it’s completely smooth, thick, and creamy. The cottage cheese adds a silky texture and a protein boost, while the strawberries bring that fresh, natural sweetness. The ice helps get it nice and cold, perfect for a refreshing start to the day.
  • Once blended, I pour the smoothie into my favorite bowl. To make it look as good as it tastes, I top it with the remaining ¼ cup of sliced strawberries, a sprinkle of crushed wholegrain graham cracker for that subtle crunch and cheesecake vibe, and if I’m feeling extra indulgent, a dollop of whipped cream. This combination not only looks beautiful but adds layers of texture and flavor.
